About Us
reVision Heat was created to reduce oil consumption in Maine and help Mainers stay warm in the most sustainable way.
We are committed to move Maine away from oil to more local, cleaner alternatives. reVision heat is the result of founders Pat Coon’s and Lee Landry’s experience in ReVision Energy, the sister company that Pat founded in 1999. ReVision Energy, at the time, was working to develop alternatives to fossil fuel through the installation of solar hot water systems, Photovoltaic System, and high efficiency wood, pellet and gas boilers.
Through our experience in ReVision Energy, we learned a lot about heating systems, what makes them efficient, what makes them inefficient. We also learned that, while harvesting Solar Energy makes a lot of sense for a lot of reasons, not enough sun light lands on the average Maine roof to supply it with the energy it needs. We need efficient systems to provide us with heat and hot water. We also learned that people in Maine set a very high bar for their heating contractor, and, if we are going to move Mainers to adopt the alternatives, they needed to know that we will be there to provide 24-7 service for a host of different types of systems.
As heating contractors, we are passionate at reVision heat about three things:
- Reducing oil consumption in Maine
- Providing legendary customer service
- Being the best business we can be for our customers and our employees.
We believe that technology can help us overcome the massive environmental and economic challenges facing us as a State, a Nation, and a Planet. At the moment, we have an office in Brewer and one in Portland offering a host of options all designed to move Maine into cleaner heating alternatives and reduce your oil consumption.
